He had a cell phone . He called 911 for help .
Used a cell phone to put him in a cell .

Hehe, reminds me of the dumb-asses who call 911 to report that they've been burglarized or ripped off by one of their friends, and when the cops get there they're growing pot or have a meth lab set up. :d

I noticed there is a $1000 reward . I would bet there is somebody out there that is going to be a $1000 richer before the week is out .

reminds me of a case my dad worked where a bank robber wrote his demands on the back of one of his checks and handed it to the teller. The cops got to his house before he did.

one of them had a guy who tried to hold up a liquor store. as an afterthought, he decided to tell the clerk to give him a bottle of whiskey from behind the counter. the clerk told him he had to see some i.d. to prove he was of age. you can guess the rest
