If I remember well, there is a Dunlirk mission template somewhere and it was released with ETO I think.

Does anybody have heard about it or remember this one? Does anybody remember who did it?

I'd like to use it.

Thanks.

My guess is that the V-156s of AB1 will be making an appearance over the beaches? Sorry can't help with the template.

yep, I'm building a mission pack for the V-156-F of the Aeronavale in may-june 1940.

Not directly over the beaches, they engaged a battery at Furnes on june 1st which is close to the pocket so it will be more immersive to include the Dunkirk scenery.

Good to hear! Now, as I've been learning about Frech use of the V-156, I run into two names for the French naval air service: Aeronavale and Aeronautique Naval. Which is correct? Or is the former just the a short form of the latter? Makes research confusing...

I don't know!! :icon_lol:

I think that Aeronautique Navale is the old name that changed into Aeronavale. A little bit like USAAC, USAAF, USAF for exemple.

Well if you don't know I doubt anyone here does. Information on it is pretty hard to come by.
