FSX Dyn'Aero CR100 for FSX SP2. The Dyn'Aero CR.100 is a French kit built single engine, two-seat monoplane, developed in the 1990s and intended as both an aerobatic trainer and a tourer, primarily for aero club use. Gmax model with virtual cockpit fully animated features. Special thanks to Amaury Rohmer for his help. By Patrick Le Luyer.[/SIZE]

I downloaded it a couple of days ago but when it is unzipped there are no folders only files. There's only a couple of files that might be difficult to place either in the panel or texture folder so I thought I'd wait for an update. If anyone has sorted the file positions out then let us know.

Here ya go:
main folder=CR-100
model=cr100.MDL, cr100_interior.MDL, model.cfg
panel=all the $____.bmp's, Bendix_king_radio.dll, cr100.cab and the panel.cfg
sound=sound.cfg (aliased to the extra300)
texture=basically everything else except the 2 jpg screenshots and the small gif file.

airfile and aircraft.cfg as normal

Not a terribly peppy airplane for an aerobatic version, but it is designated as a trainer and touring type aircraft, so I guess it fits that role. As is my want lately, I had a look at the textures and they definitely will require a redo to HiRes, lol. I like nice crisp textures and these are a bit too blurry for my taste. Once I post the Seabird textures I'll start on the CR-100.:salute:

Is the VC nice and functional? Could anyone show any pics of the vc?
I don't have any shots, but the VC is pretty nice. . . .a little fuzzy for my taste, not super crisp details but I can work with it to make it sharper. Overall, a nice airplane.:salute:

A WIP shot of the HiRes Livery. Still a ways to go yet. I brightened up the red some and still have rivets, panel lines, exhaust and a few other things to finish. Does anyone know what wording is under the FFA logo on the tail?

Here are a few VC shots. The default panel on the left and one that I added Carbon Fiber to for a different look.

Outstanding kd, that was all I needed to complete the textures, so I'll upload these at lunch today (it's 7:05AM here in Texas). Thanks for the assist.:applause::applause:

Good to know, Ed waiting for your new textures :applause:

Everything is zipped and waiting. I decided to send it to Patrick first and let him give me the ok to release the new textures. Normally I wouldn't bother with that since it's freeware, but the way his disclaimer read in the readme. . . .I decided to err on the side of caution.:wiggle:

Just a quick note, Patrick has uploaded a new version of the CR-100 that has the correct file system, rather than just a bunch of files and no folders. He did not respond to my current question about releasing the new textures. . . .on hold for now.

Ok, I'm going to release this without hearing from Patrick, it's just a repaint, not a complete redo of his airplane. One of my pet peeves is having an e-mail address and then not answering e-mails on a timely basis. If you have an e-mail address, answer your e-mails. . . .if you don't have the time to answer them, then get rid of the e-mail address, grrr. It will be posted momentarily.:salute:

Looking at the readme.txt file that comes with the aircraft, Patrick states "Repaints are welcome". To me this would suggest that you should not have to contact him for permission to release a repaint. That being said the wording in the readme suggests that English is not Patrick's primary language so I could be misinterpreting his intentions.
