Dynamic Repaint; Paintfumes Addictions..

Lionheart

SOH-CM-2014
Hey all,

Was playing around with a paint scheme last night. This is from another Lancair aircraft. converted to Aerospool with German registry. I'll launch it when its ready. I cant figure out if I should darken the red. With shine and reflection, it is lightened a bit, almost pinkish. I'll have to think about it.

10,000 posts?!? Wowsers, that's some serious surfing!

Your's look like ketchup, the real like a beet. Darken it up a smidge...

:running: <--------- me off to the shower before Bill gets to post # 10,001.

Is there anyway you could Do an N number with this paint also. I'd also love to see the green supplied paint with an N number. kinda wierd flying a foriegn reg in the PNW. :salute:

Dang... 10,000! Thats quite a few. I guess I post alot. eeeks... Panther has probably double that though. His original is probably at 25,000.

Roger and roger.

Hey Bill...

I have several of your aircraft and like them alot. (The Epic is my favorite, but, then again I like the Kodiak for operations out of my favorite state of Minnesota.) I do not have the Dynamic which, perhaps, prompts the question below.

The series of shots above seem to show that the Dynamic has 'fixed gear' except for the airborne shot. Is it just the angle of the shot or do the gear 'disappear'? Thanks.

There are two versions of the Dynamic, one fixed gear, and one RG.

???

I knew it would be a stupid question. How significant are the performance differences between the fixed and retractable gear versions - I'm looking primarily for the stall and cruise speed of each variant.

The FG is about 20 knots slower then the RG. But... If you want to go faster, you are allowed to go in and 'modify' the aircraft.cfg to reflect a 'special, high performance version' Dynamic..... (so long as the FS police dont find out, I think you'll be fine... wink wink).

Both versions are in the same package, but they are sold 'sim separately', FSX is one, FS9 is the other, but dual packs of RG and FG.

Scenery there is in FS9, Pattonville. The Pattonville for FSX is touchy, things flashing and turning different colors, layers paying havoc with distance, etc... Kind of entertaining. Pattonville is a glider port and airport in Germany in the south near Frankfurt. AWESOME freeware scenery.

German Registry D-YNMC

Ok... Color adjusted, was way off. I love this paint stripe scheme!

Thank you Lancair owner. :d

I modified the paint scheme into Metallic Blue. I like it... :)

The N-number is my brothers online flight number. Should have given him pink (red) hair as well. ;)

Italian Registry

This is also a famous paint scheme of Lancair; beige with brown. I utilized the same stripe system with different color themes. I also added a cool Zebra skin to the seats. The seats can be reversed out with stock leather textures.

Beige Brown in USA Registry

I was trying to think of a country that uses Beige also. USA....

Features Epic LT cool chrominum N numbers; USA rudder badge.

These will be up as soon as I get a chance. I have to package them all now, arrghh..

I may do another of the blue in a French registry. Some cool airfields over there.

Bill, just a small hint: the German repaint shows the "federal service flag" on the vertical stabilizer (German flag with federal eagle in the center). The use of the service flag is prohibited for other than federal institutions like e.g. armed forces, government buildings etc.

If you put it on your private flagpole or paint it onto your plane you'll be fined (they only made an exception during the 2006 FIFA world championship).

The service flag is quite popular among German expats and emigrants. In Toronto I saw more of those flags than in Berlin :icon_lol:

Hey Vora,

Thats good information. Danged if I havent already uploaded it to the servers, arrgh....

Now I know. Thanks for the heads up man. I wondered why I didnt see more of those.

Bill
