Last week it came to my attention that the Experimental Aircraft Association's Ford Tri Motor will in Vienna Ohio at the Youngstown / Warren Regional Airport (KYNG) July 13 - 16, 2023

Tonight I pulled the trigger and bought Mrs Dangerous and myself a ticket for Sunday.

Anyone else up for a ride? They had 172 tickets left after I checked out.

Link below grab yours if you have the time.

And Walk-ins are except so head over. They haven't started flying yet because of clouds coverage. It's supposed to clear out here shortly but it's Ohio and they don't get very serious about controlling there weather. Not like South Florida where we schedule the rain for 10 minutes everyday and Sun there after.

I didn't know the importance of scheduling this flight when I booked it. We found out at the end of this season this plane is going to be decommisioned and put in the Ford Museum. It is being replace with another Tri-Motor that has just been built. This was our only chance to fly on an original. It might be the only chance I ever have.

She flew just like I remember them flying in FS9. Took off with little effort. She flew for 15 minutes and we came back and landed. It was a calm day so we took off on Rwy 32 and landed on Rwy 14.

I will post a few pictures this evening when I get to my computer.
