Hey All,

Australia
This is a group called the Sunny Cowgirls! Didn't know there were cowgirls (aka buckle bunnies) in Australia but there sure as he!! are! PS they are sisters.

Can I please propose a British entry, Brixton's finest, the wonderful Alabama 3, players of "Sweet Pretty M********n Country Acid House Music; a brilliant fusion of country, techno & house, in their 'unplugged' form they are one of the best live bands I have ever seen!! In their own words "We're the fellas that did that Soprano's theme tune. That tune bought someone a swimming pool, but it sure wasn't any of us..."

The Wurzels - Combine Harvester is an absolute classic.

Seems there isn't alot of country music in Europe. There is a lot in Australia including this one which speaks to a very fundamental truth. :applause:

There is a bit of a country music scene here, but not massive - Alabama 3 are not really part of it, although they do draw inspiration from it. I guess the thing about the UK is our cosmopolitan nature, so country will have its fanbase, as will blues (that has, for some reason, always been bigger here - so an artist like Seasick Steve can pull some big crowds), latin, African .....

I guess why country is not so big, certainly in the UK, is we have our own traditional music scene and that is a lot bigger, and a lot more vibrant.

Hmm, I did not vote; or alternatively, I vote for all of them. Yep, I listen to classical music almost exclusively but also look for the unfettered freedom of music made without electronic blast mechanisms. I gives a 'A' for all but Weird Al Yankovic, who needs no help from me.

head swinging from the lady to the right makes me dizzy. :icon_lol:
