• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

    If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

    Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

Editing CFS3 for Multiplayer on Windows 7 Movie

Here is a quickly done movie on how to edit CFS3 for Multiplayer running on Windows 7.

Note : This can be done for all expansions, with the exceptons being that ETO requires additional editing to a .bat file, and if done for MAW you will need to work with the file called "Normal.exe" and not the CFS3.exe (ergo it is done exactly the same for the current PTO, Korean Skies, and I presume, OFF).

For expansions I include an appropriate "abbreviation" when renaming the .exe

Examples : CFS3mawWin7.exe, CFS3ptoWin7.exe, CFS3ksWin7.exe

Note : They are not case sensitive and can be named anything to differentiate them.

I have configured all the freeware expansions using this technique and have tested each one.

Hopefully this video is concise and easily understandable for those of you transitioning to the new OS.
