Effects Library?

I have an aircraft which is missing the effects files required by the CFG.

Is there a site(s) from where I can D/L effects files?

(BTW, is there a site(s) from where I can D/L gauge files?)

I have Googled and visited Flight Sim and Simviation without success.

Which specific aircraft is it that you need effects for? I don't know of any single repository for effect files, but somebody may be able to point you to a package with what you need. As for gauges, Avsim has a section of just guages for both FS9 and FSX.

The effects files I'm searching for are:
fx_d6navred
fx_d6navgre
fx_d6strobe
fx_d6beacon
fx_vclightr
fx_d6navwhi

I thought I had all the fx files possible 2,460 of them, but not those.
They should come with the aircraft package - which one is it?

The a/c file is dash_6_100_twin_otter_borinqair.zip It is a PAD short-nosed Twotter.

I went to the PAD site and downloaded the only short-nosed FS2004 Twotter, only to find that it uses different effects.

As I'm writing this I'm thinking I could modify the 1st CFG to use the effects files from the more recent a/c. Is it THAT SIMPLE???

When you're talking about things like nav and strobe lights, yes, it IS that simple. Use the effect filenames from the lights of any default aircraft, and you'll be in business.
