Effects problem

Hello folks, just went to start in some of my theaters, after a small absence, and have a small problem that I can't seem to rectify. It seems that ALL my engine start engine exhaust effects are now being displayed as square blocks instead of the normal exhaust effects, and also my gun smoke is displaying as square blocks! :redfire:
A few weeks ago it was alright and now this. At a loss as to whether this is a effects problem or texture problem:dizzy:. Everything else seems to display just fine!
Any ideas, suggestions, pointers gladly accepted.:very_drunk:

My first guess is texture related.

I think the all of the FX texture files are loaded from Combat Flight Simulator 2\TEXTURE folder. Quite sure that fx_2.bmp is the gun flash. fx_3.bmp has bullet casings that fall out of the plane. Best to start Free Flight and see if the bullet casings that fall out of the plane when you fire the guns or they squares as well. After that there is a fx_smoke.bmp and a fx_1.bmp that has fire balls.

Make sure you have these.

Thanks allen.....

:encouragement: it appears that the FX 1 had a date change from the stock. Changed it out and all is well with the CFS2 world! :applause: Where the change came from is beyond me as I haven't had time to fuss with this because of real world problems. Thanks again!!:wavey:
