Just started with the "new" Emirau Airport like it looks nearly till today. Just will take the period late sixtees till the end of the seventees. In this time there were some of the old military installations prensent, even they are in a bad condition. Only one runway is use (till today). Airport is coded (like in real) AYEE now. Just little GA traffic there.
Just after the end of WWII american forces left that little island and Emirau falls back into a deep sleep, as i did before the US Forces arrived. All the installations were taken back by nature. The harbour today is just a wooden jetty. Only some buildings did it throug the time.
In the late 60`th only very less of tourist arrived on that island (same as today), by boat or with little GA planes.
Ok.... lets have a look to the first steps forword. Just know i did most parts of the new AFCAD and i`m just experimenting with a new layout that matches the bad conditions of the old installations. A little AI traffic is pressent, the "new terminal" is ready and a little "beachlife" with tourists is done.
