On my rig the alpha channels only work in DX10 for some reason. In DX9 all they do is to darken the skin. Weird....! Still an awesome piece o' kit!! Many thanks to Dave and Aerosoft.

I did it too. No any problems just no shadows in VC (and perhaps exterior lights) and cant add it manually (error of Tool for shadows, no any problems like this with others addons, hmm):

Btw. Id like to have TacPack refuel option (as for example second install option of model).
 
Mach 2.0 at FL400, full reheat. 2.5 'g' pitch to a 35 degree climb, roll inverted at mach 0.8 and float over the top. The result? Curvature of Earth at FL845! Love this beast of a jet :jump:

If you mean the the dirty engine haze ,yes that is incorporated . If you mean aero display smoke no . The Firebirds did experiment with isolating a flap tank and filling it with diesel which was piped into the jet pipe ....... but I think the powers that be vetoed it .
 
Has the camouflaged 11 squadron Lightning been "zapped" by a German squadron or is there another story behind the marking on the port intake?

Its a Waffenschule 10 zap . Interestingly an upload on the Aerosoft site shows it on the right side , whereas my info has it on the left ! Could have been both of course .... more investigation required methinks !
 
I briefly did a search before posting here I saw what appeared to be one on the left size but much smaller, it was hard to tell for sure though since it was so grainy. Being unofficial in nature I am sure they could appear anywhere the zapper wanted.
