what is ARMA 2? is it for console gaming? What else does it do?
 
best way of saying it, Arma2 is basicly an infantry sim with a lot of toys to play with :d

I brought the german version when it came out a few backs and i'm loveing it, bit buggy still but the developers are second to none in terms of comeing out with patchs etc, they kept patching Arma1 up till a few months of arma2's release date :applause:

Its also currently UNavailable for any console, its a through and through PC game based on realistic balistics. Several armys around the world use the more seriouse version of Arma1 (VBS2) for training with.

Its makeing it way around, should be fully available by mid july. The release has been a bit confuseing, germany got it first due to publisher polotics at the end of may, then 505 games released in Europe this week and i think it starts selling in the states end of june, all i know so far is that Steam will be selling it.

true ..... allthough i wish the shilkas werent in .. hate those rudy things :icon_lol: BMP3 is a blast though!!

Also because i know it will be asked eventually, it is NOT a fligh sim, it does NOT have realistic spin/stall or indeed any sort of real flight charicteristics. The aircraft and choppers are there basicly to flesh it out a bit .... however that doesnt mean there boring to fly around :jump:
