I want it, I want it, I want it, I want it ... shall I continue....

Really I can not wait to get this now, the more I look at it the more I just drool, this is really the aircraft I'm most excited about and the most eagerly awaited in my history of fsx simming! :salute:

but now, I'm moving forward the virtual cockpit work with quite apprehensions...
Don't let it get to you!:ernae: Judging by the exterior model, you should do just fine. I just started the VC for my Skyraider. I manage by doing one small section at a time. Panel in one session, seat in the next,....
Remember, it's just polys!

Hi guys!
Many thanks for your nice comments!
My VC is progessing slowly, I'm spending my time in modeling, painting and coding animations which is a nice balance for my motivation... :icon_lol:
Piglet, as you told me, I focus first to the panel, the rest of the cockpit will be done in a second time. Just polys, yes, but how long it takes to put them all together!! :isadizzy:
I joined a screenshot to show how it looks like today. Thanks to the help of a former Etendard pilot, I could add some nice details into instruments code, but I still have a lot of work to do...
Regards,

S.

Looks familiar ! Very nice cockpit and airplane indeed!
Bon courage pour ce travail de Titan! C'est magnifique et tu as beaucoup de fans ici !
Cheers! :ernae:

Stunning model mate

You have captured her perfectly

love the gear & texturing on the small parts

Regards
Rick

Hi everybody!
I haven't post some fresh news for a while so here is some recent screen shots.
The project is still progessing but slowly. I have a lot of different open items (vc and external models, painting/weathering, specific nav ops dll, missions, etc...) but all the tests done are very positive so I'm confident in being able to finish it "soon"*.
I really like the way this plane looks and renders in FSX :)

Regards
Sylvain

Mr. Sylvain "sparouty,"

Its looking nice, so far:applause: ... Just keep up the good work and don't forget to enhance the VC textures to 4096x4096 or 2048x2048, (i.e. HI-Res.)

Unless you have made the textures in those sizes, you can't just 'enhance them.' If they were done in 1024 x 1024 they'd need to be completely redone.

Because it's a forum thread and not a personal message? ...
Are you honestly saying that because its a public forum, it justifies meaningless bantering?

The post is about the development of the Etendard, lets stick to suggestions about that and not mindless "mud slinging" again, seriously. :salute:

Hebrews 11:6 "But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him."

Thank you very much.
Sincerely,
From,
James F. Chams
