R

RB, that is the red star shell being fired from the star shell Destroyer, there is also an artillery piece that fires that same shell.

Jeff, thanks for the kind remarks. In that mission are a lot of different components/scenery/aircraft/airfields, etc. built by different members of the team. The mission pulls together all of that beautiful work from the team and makes it come alive.

I know all of us apreciate it when the community enjoys our work, it makes it all worth while.

No problem Steve, glad to see a Mossie get an airing in 1.2. Once I've finished my collaboration with RB, I'll have to crack on and adapt my nearly complete Mossie mission pack.

I just had to tell you that I made it back to home, being diverted to Hawkinge. I loved the firestorm effects which we over flew on our way in due to Luftwaffe attack. As we approached the airfield I spotted a couple of He-111's. I managed to bag one. This gave my flight time to land...before me!

I was also pleased that when over Calais stooging around with some 109's. a flight of P-38's showed up and took some heat off us. (I'll have to check my spawn settings!)

Still, having some p-38's spawn and then give a bit 'a escort had ta be quite cool...:engel016:

I actually saw them over the channel on my first mission, but I was glad when they decided to mix it with the 109's on my last.
