Eto 1.3 How to start with the ERA choice?

I do NOT remember where is the start program in ETO 1.3.....

There should be a ETO start button on your desktop both with 1.3 and 1.31 I just loaded CF3 thru 1.31 testing each step. Works fine, but slow loading.

Hello,
My case is different. I had a disk crash ... all gone. I reloaded from my backup copy... so I do not have a start button on the desktop.....
This button must be a shortcutt to a batch file, no.....? Which batch file?

Make a desktop shortcut to this file:

MASTERETOSTARTUP.bat

It's in ETO/root.

Then you can change the icon for the ones equally in CFS3 ETO/root.

Thanks it works
With my previous installation I had the usual first "dos" window with the choice of ERA and after selection I was receiving a second (2nd) "dos" window where I had to "enter" only.

In my current installation (restore) I only have the first (1st) "dos" window.
Any idea why this difference?

If you've changed hard drive letter, you'll need to modify the batch files.

Uncheck "Read Only" and then right click - edit.

You'll find this:

CALL ETOEraSwapper.bat
CD "D:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\CFS3 ETO Expansion\global_layer"
CALL ETOGLSwapper.bat
CD "D:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\CFS3 ETO Expansion\sounds"
CALL ETOMusicSwapper.bat
START cfs3.exe

The drive letter is in red.

Then go into ETO/Global_layer and do the same with ETOGLSwapper.bat

Use the "replace" facility (in notepad) to make sure you get ALL the entires! There's one right at the end...

Hope this helps - it's what seems likely to me!

Thanks a lot all solved.
My mistake I did change the names of the folders containing the different games ...
