ETO 1.5 Scenery

I have been playing CFS3 with most of the files on this page: http://www.sim-outhouse.com/sohforums/local_links.php?catid=158&sort=d&page=2&pp=20
However, I'm not sure if I should install them to ETO 1.5. Is ETO's scenery better? Or should I add the files?

Hi merger3, IMHO ETO 1.50 is a nicely balanced package.

Try out the downloadable scenery in another install (perhaps stock cfs3), and see which you prefer. The tricky thing about scenery addons, especially if they are comprehensive, is that the scenery masks, lso files etc are matched to specific packages. Hence if you swap over scenery sets and get any files mixed up you will get strange artifacts like trees marching across ground textures in places where they obviously shouldn't be.

One of the scenery sets I've always wanted to try in ETO is von oben's 7 seasons package which uses Winding Man's scenery manager. IIRC that package is made specifically for ETO.
