Hi All

I seem to remember somebody posted up an airbases.dat file that contained most of, if not all the European airfields available. Trouble is I've changed PC and unfortunately a lot of the library of updates I collated have been lost to a HDD that went :pop4:


Currently rebuilding my installs and this would be very handy to have!!

There is a MUCH larger version, I just have to wait until Achim27619 and Kdriver finish their work to finalize the new list. Would you like a beta version?

Will you please add another bakers dozen to the list. I've just finished the fields for I/JG11 which I will either release independently or with the campaign later. Plus perhaps the R bases from the 354th Campaign?

Kurt,

I will add them only if you send me all the bases...lol. I did add St. Eval, Ansbach, and Gael to the list, because they are GSL and selectable in Free Flight. I would humbly request that AFD files are provided for the others, and perhaps Lashenden be made into GSL.

For the other two things I alluded to earlier, Kdriver made a set of seaplane AFD files for my GSL European ports that I will include in the next upload, and achim27619 is one or two bases away from a major update to the JHS_UK airfield package. The new bases will include...

Northern Ireland (Nutts Corner, Aldergrove, Limavady)

Scotland (Stornaway, Prestwick, Dyce, Drem)

England (Usworth, Catterick, Driffield, Dishforth, Church Fenton, Kirton-in-Lindsay, and a relocated Ouston)

No sense finalizing a version until the above is completed, no?
 
Agreed to that.In the meantime if you don't mind a beta package without the downloads required (you will already have them anyway) I'll send the JG11 bases, that OK? and yes they all have AFD and gsl files associated. :untroubled:

Rami, I would love the Beta but I'm quite prepared to wait a little while for the full blown list when it's ready. Can I ask does it contain all the airfields in the JHS series of files or are there seperate air fields by other authors/within other downloads? I'm eager to have as comprehensive a list of airfields within the ETO and also maybe MTO as possible
