• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

    If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

    Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

ETO Configuration Override Help

Had ETO Expansion running on a W7/64 rig (2048 textures) for some time and now for some reason I keep getting a configuration override out of date error. Config.exe seems to be acting strange too. I double click it and it doesn't auto run, I have to click "file" and then default settings. It does register the correct vid card after running. Tried moding it for 2048 and just leaving it on default, even deleted the unlimitedpilots, view and uisel xml's (under Application Data, etc.) - no dice. All I have done to it recently was add some skins and stand alones. KTO and PTO are running fine. Any help would be much appreciated.:ernae:
 
That error is almost always a vid driver related issue.... Any time that I update drivers I get the same error. The fact that it doesn't autorun is strange however.

Pied - I haven't updated the vid driver recently either. KTO & PTO have the same config override settings as ETO and they're working fine. It just doesn't make any sense.:isadizzy:
