Hi
Today I flew a ETO Attack in the West campaign mission at June 1:st 1940 where we were assigned to intercept a flight of Dakota C-47.
The ETO_C-47 RAF.xdp says:
EnteredService="03/01/1940"
Later in the xpd there is this info:
<Description String="
This Dakota C-47 was based in the ETO in 1942-45
What would a historically accurate date for the RAF Dakota C-47 in ETO?
I found some info here:
http://ukmamsoba.org/history_dakota.htm
"24 Squadron - During the early part of World War II its operations were mainly centred on the UK, but in April 1942 it began to fly to Gibraltar and later Malta."
Cheers
