When I try to run program it tells me "unable to find cfs3.exe" No worki

ti doesnt remove the zapper at least for me will ask me to allow it to run i say yes i dont need to programme anything in it .... again im running vista

Had several alerts during my instalation on XP with Comodo, but I put trust in the install and opted to keep them.

Obviously I'm open to advice if that was a wrong thing to do ... GULP !

I assure you, there is no virus or anything else harmful in ETO. Period.

I a nutshell, a few short months ago, the Anti-Virus program industry decided to make us all "safer". Now it's too safe. The AV programs are deciding that batch files are a no-no, so they are targeting them.

This is very especially true of the ETO BDP Zapper and ETO Backup. I am actually surprised that these programs are ignoring the ETO Spawn Selector.

All you have to do is tell your AV Program to ignore or allow these files. As each program's operation varies from peblisher to publisher, it is impossible to post a standard fix for this problem.:d

These false positive virus alerts on the ETO bdp zapper .exe and the eto Backup .exe stem from my use of a freeware conversion program from .bat file to .exe file. I wanted to protect the integrity of the the files from editing. Subsequent to creating the original .bat files and conversion some YoYo posted on UTube how to hide/ stealth a worm .bat file which would delete files by using the freeware conversion tool. Hence, ever since certain anti-virus programs will give a alert on the above mentioned files.

Once again I would like to reassure the community that the files are virus free.

If someone is aware of another freeware bat to exe conversion tool let me know and I will gladly convert the original .bat files.

Ksaey, the reason that the etospawnselector.bat is not affected is because of 2 reasons. It does not delete files (only renames the files) and when I created the .bat file I did not convert the file to an .exe file

A quick question....

If I run a scan say in a weeks time, will it flag up any viruses based on the files that have been installed or does this just happen during the installation process ?

Reason for my question is that I don't want to delete a file some point in the future because I can't remember where it has come from.

You will have to indicate or select in your anti-virus software that the zapper and the backup .exe files should be ignored as potentially harmful. Various anti-virus software has different methods to do that. The zapper and the backup.exes are the only 2 that are affected in the ETO directory.
