• There seems to be an up tick in Political commentary in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site we know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religiours commentary out of the fourms.

    If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

    Please note any post refering to a politicion will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment amoung members. It is a poison to the community. We apprciate compliance with the rules.

Still not working ???? This what my bat file in Global Layer looks like. My Master Startup is like the one from SixStrings.

I assume you are referring to "ETOGLSwapper:? To me that looks OK. What is your ETOEraSwapper.bat? I assume your location is ""C:\Program Files\ (x86)\Microsoft Games\CFS3 ETO Expansion..."
 
Yes. Everything in C drive Program files. This is how the original global layer bat file was. IT is the way Firestorm2 posted.

These are five edits made to my global_layer ETOGLSwapper:

There is one more at the bottom. If not typed precisely correct, it won't work.
CFS3 is a 32bit program, so having a 64 bit OS it should go here, but could go where you like.
 
That is the way I have. But then noticed it read Program Files and noy Program(x86). going to check on if my read only stays the same or reverts back to read only on its own before i change it.

Well i going to reinstall it. at least with the replies I've gotten i can kake sure the bat files are correct. Fingers crossed it works. will post the results. Thanks
 
Ok..... No body come here to shoot me. installing (trying) Rising Sun. After the 7 installs, they say to config game. I get 2 that Config.exe. When when i go to open the game Nothing happens ????? Any clues what I did wrong. Thanks
 
Okay. Some how I can not find Rising Sun Install zip. Deleted what I install and was going to install in C:\ Drive. But its disappeared . Must be that other me doing something wrong ..........
 
You could use 'Plan B'... Download the separate Rising Sun theatres as they come available!
Pearl and Sino have been released and if you have PTO Solomon Islands then you'll already

Thanks !!!! Did't know that about Wake and Midway in Solomons. I do have PTO Solomons installed. Thank You FireStorm and Mr. Bob Parks. Your a life saver. You would be one that I would want to watch my back in Nam.
 
Tried installing CFS3 Pearl harbor 2 times. Once on its own to C Drive And then into PTO Solamons Folder . Is there a read me on instalation. Any help ?????? Thanks
 
Once unzipped and gotten thru anti-virus checks the auto-installer has Instructions to follow, for example it asks
you if you would like to use a suggested filename OR to edit in 'C:\your own name' in creating a new place for this
separate install. There's more questions and don't forget about MultiCFS3 so it can have it's own AppData.
