ETO no new planes and nationalities

I installed 1.40 update and followed the NEK instructions (delete unlimitedpilots.xml) to get the new pilots, planes and countries. When I started CFS3 they aren't there. Did I mess something up? I can't think what else to try. I am running Windows 7 64 bit, and I DO have the UAC disabled. I didn't install the Hotfix yet though, I'm going to wait before I do that.

Any help would be appreciated,

Ok. I was also wondering, what new countries are included in NEK because I don't know if I got them or not? I read somewhere (can't remember) that I get Japanese planes and Chinese planes. Is that true because I don't have them?
 
NEK (Nationalities Expansion Kit) is needed for adding new nationalities in stock CFS3.

ETO (which is a mod for CFS3) has its own NEK with the nationalities needed for the "European Theatre of Operation". It therefore has neither China nor Japan included.

NEK doesn't add planes, it just prepares CFS3 to show the planes under their nationalities. In the game-menu, each nationality that has at least one plane installed is showing up, not before.
 
Japanese nationality and aircrafts are included in PTO add on.... and many surprises will come with the next update!
