Piglet did a lendlease British military Chevy truck with a Lewis machine gun mounted in the back. My favorite vehicle to drive around in. (I'm into old GM trucks to begin with)

If you're more into civilian vehicles, check out Bill Lyons' packages. And Lionheart did a Buggati race car that comes with his Buggati aircraft pack.

In defense of the designers, I have to mention a couple of things:

1) FS2004 is a civilian sim, thus you're more apt to find what you're looking for in the CFS series sims.

2) It's a flight sim, so aircraft are the primary things you'll see designed :d

1) There are so many military addons for FS2004 and honestly, the potential is all there. FSX took it to a new level. Over Flanders Fields is a great example of the potential of CFS3 being ported to any era from Vietnam to current operations.

2) Umm...I design more than just aircraft. WIP.

I like having a tank. Rob's "Challenger II" is a sweet model with lots of features and I like to drive it around in the cities of FS9... lots of fun.
Having a "vehicle" to cruise around FS9 scenery is a nice break from flying now and then... but on occasion, I like to go FAST! The "Pinto" from "Shupe Industries" is a real fast little hotrod for just that occasion.


I like the way the Panther Tank is shaping up, snake36bravo... Looking forward to driving the finished product around town. I love the looks on people's faces when I boogie down the street in something like that! LOL

all this recent vehicle talk is making me want to visit Bovington... and yeah be nice to have a drive from Berlin to i dunno.... the Ardennes anybody? granted it'd take a day or two but the looks on the flyboys faces.... priceless!

Also look for Bill Lyons on Flightsim. Several of his freeware packs came with driveable period vehicles, if I'm not mistaken.
