Another thing is no 2 ships in the same class were exactly the same.Some longer and some had more armament.The South Dakota Class which had 4 ships,3 had 10 twin 5 inch gun turrets.The S.Dakota only had 8.The reason was because it was built as a Flagship and needed more room for other things.
Another little tidbit of history.The treaty with Japan was supposed to be signe on the Flagship of the US fllet which was the USS New Jersey. The New Jersey was leaving Pearl and couldn't get there in time so the USS missouri was chosen.Why was it chosen? Because Truman was from Missouri.
I have books on all the world battleships and color schemes for them also.Not to mention all other ships.I've been doing research for over 45 years on WW2 naval ops.I have also done research on air ops in the ETO,MTO,PTO and CBI for the same length of time.

I only remember the US Navy having two shades of grey, deck and haze!
Actually the British ships we operated with came in different shades depending on their oparea. North Atlantic ops were dark, Persian gulf they had a really, really light shade of grey.

way to tell them, even though I'm busy building my house, just up the bf109-f4 Rebuffat paul since he was had incomplete textures. Now librarian put it on the list of rebuffat.When I get more freetime,I will go uploading some things more.
and I'm also finishing up the list of my collection of breakable planes leave a picture, but everything is understandable for me, hehe the comfortable accommodates when finished and will serve as a very good guide.

.before adjusting make sure you pay heed to what Talon has posted and the references I gave. Some ships, even the same class, had differences. As situations arose, changes were made either by battle lessons learned or things noticed on the buildingways that had to be corrected\adjusted.
Tried doing a spredsheet myself but lost it when my HD hiccupped several weeks ago. Hate to start over again.
