F-35 Lighting II version 3.11

It is really nice to see you continue to upgrade an already wonderful creation.

Thank You!

Thank you Dino. The improvements are much appreciated. It is already an incredible package.

Cheers,

This is probably a stupid question, but in the v3.11, how do I dump fuel. I know that ctrl-D is supposed to dump fuel, and indeed it does, but only if I keep the keys pressed. The button on the FMS page is locked (surrounded by yellow/black banded box), any way to unlock it? I tried ****, but couldn't find any clue.

gdavej, I seem to remember that you have to click on the fuel tanks on the MFD, and then you get the dumping option.
Dino, indeed, a thank you for all your tremendous work! Whether freeware or payware, it is always of payware quality.

Fuel dumpo...it should not be locked (in flight).
You should select the DUMP option in the fuel page, and then you should be prompted with a confirmation pop-up.
You will not be able to completely dump the fuel (a minimum quantity cannot be dumped).
Also, this differs a little from the real thing in which you can also set the quantity of fuel to be dumped.

I'm actually trying to dump the fuel whilst on the ground, to reduce weight to allow VTOL.

Just go under Vehicle/ Fuel & Payload and lower the fuel.

You most likely cannot dump fuel on the ground. Big environmental and safety no no. :)

For the record - I was notified that the new power-up sequence of the MFD is incorrect. Apparently it was correct the first time around (left MFD powers with battery) - I am verifying my sources and eventually roll-back that change.

For information,
F-35 Avionics Update version 3.20 had a small bug so that portal no.4 could not be operated as inteded. The patch has been fixed and updated to version 3.21.
