Well, unfortunately my "paying job" is absorbing most of my time... So at present I have little time for FSX.
At present, the F-35B conversion is roughly 40% done. It does not look spectacular IMHO, but it is ok.
The F-35C is much more difficult - as expected - as blending the new wing is extremely difficult. The first attempts were looking really bad...

I always wanted to make a Thunderbird paintscheme - but never had the time.... There are pics from Lockheed Martin marketing, circulating on the internet...

Looks very nice. I always prefer painted textures over
photoreal compilations. Just a personal preference.

Dino, have you thought about going more pro with your work? It certainly is on par with many of the payware companies and your models are not even FS9 port overs. I have your F-35 and would have gladly paid more than it was retailing for. Charging a higher price would put a grimace on some faces, but your labor of love would now make you some profit for your time. Just something to consider and again, it's about re-couping all the time and energy you put into your work, just my opinion.

Planning for the 65 x CF-35 are :

24 x to be located at Bagotville, Quebec ( 425 Alouette Squadron )
24 x to be located at Cold Lake, Alberta ( 409 Nighthawks Squadron )
and
17 x to be located at Cold lake, Alberta for training purposes
( 410 Cougar Squadron )

Do you plan modified versions of your repaint for 410 and 425 Squadrons ?

The sources I have read mention that the initial 20 Israeli F-35 will represent standard F-35A models build in the US. However, the F-35I acquisition agreement is opening opportunities for the installation of Israeli systems in future production batches if <st1:place w:st="on"><st1:country-region w:st="on">Israel</st1:country-region></st1:place> chooses to buy additional aircraft.

Sorry for the late reply - Well, I wish flight simulation to be my paying job...but, in truth, my real life job as mechanical engineer (btw I work for a company that makes electronic components also for military avionics) is much more profitable.

Also, if you want to be a professional, you should design the planes that people want, rather than the one you like... F-35, for example, may not have been the best choice.

Very sure of it. My source was Lockheed Martin and IAI both made the joint statement on US TV. From what they said, major structural components will be totally US made but shipped to and then assembled by IAI in Israel. I know someone directly involved in the Logistical Support Planning of this.
