F-4 Phantom X!

Cloud 9 F-4 Phantom X German, George AFB (1972)
I remember at least 6 or more of these birds with sequential numbers.
German pilots trained at George and had that Euro paint scheme.
Pulled the seats a few times from this bird. 21122

Ok...what do I need to do to get my Cloud 9 phantom working in FSX...that is KILLER!

There are two files you will need from this package.

Grab the canopy fix from here...

The two files are dated 2/12/2009, and install them in all aircraft texture folders.

I replaced the afterburners with ones from an F-16... looks better than default ones.

I tried all this and it works however one big problem, the canopies do not
open/shut. At least not with the old fashioned Ctrl + E keys.

I was at George AFB in 1972, also. Worked midnight shift munitions flightline delivery, crew chief. Spent most of my time in the hot shack (trailer) at the north end of the flightline. Unfortunately, because of those hours, didn't get to look to closely at the birds on the flightline. I do vaguely remember the different paint schemes, but couldn't get close enough to look them over. Thanks for the fixes so I can use the Cloud9 F-4 in FSX.

I searched the net and could only come up with this fix for the canopy glass.

I was there from 1976 to 1979, pulling and installing buckets all day long. George AFB is where I got my experience with F-105F/G Wild Weasel birds. Awesome aircraft!
