• There seems to be an up tick in Political commentary in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site we know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religiours commentary out of the fourms.

If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

Please note any post refering to a politicion will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment amoung members. It is a poison to the community. We apprciate compliance with the rules.

I am not involved with this project, except to say that I was contacted by the designer. He told me that my friend in Pensacola, who volunteers for the Naval Aviation Museum, has been quite helpful in providing technical data. My friend is a retired Master Chief (spent 34 years on active duty). He runs the maintenance publications library for the museum.

Frank is awesome! He helped out alot, and gave me some cool docs, and an awesome tour of the museum. My buddy Sammy and I heard we actually missed you down there by a couple of weeks!

If I understood Frank correctly, we left Pensacola to return back to Fort Myers 6 days before you arrived. Maybe next time, eh? I trust you got a tour of that fantastic museum? I like seeing the restoration hangar. The general public does not see inside that, so it always helps to have a shipmate like Frank, who could show me around. All of the folks who work at the museum are extremely dedicated, and love what they do. Pete
