F-86-F-30 Sabre

Hi all, we are looking for a F-86 Sabre pilot... anyone know someone?

Preferably with experience in simming as well.

let us know...

thanks!

An F-86 pilot who's a team player AND a multiplayer?? Those old timer Sabre drivers may not go for that kind of thing. ....Just kidding, lol.

Well, the first person that comes to mind is the main RW pilot test team member for the Section F8 Sabre, Dudley Henriques ...

Have no contact for him, but surely Jan et al could hook you up, assuming he's in good health.

Failing that, Cliff Preseley, who also helped with that project, and who did extensive work for the AS F-105, which he flew operationally (thudpilot, here on SOH) would be another good resource. While a half-generation or so behind the Sabre pilots and not having flown it (as far as I know, at least), he's obviously been seen an asset on the Section F8 project, and would as such, would be an excellent asset for any other Sabre project ...

My father flew the F86-H.... it was his first assignment out at George AFB in 1955. Pete Fernandez was the Ops officer.

Lots of those guys have made their last flight west. I would have to agree that Dudley is the best bet.

If you can't come up with an F-86 driver, you might be able to find some Sabreliner guys. The sabreliner has pretty much the same wing and flying attributes.

Just a thought.
