his repaint of the Royale French Navy Design F-8E Crusader represents an F-8E Crusader from US Marine Corps Fighter Squadron 312 based at Da Nang, Vietnam, 1966. Marine F-8s were work horses and looked the part after being in service a short time. However, F-8s are such a sleek looking breed I could not bring myself to dirty this one up. So, it's pretty clean as Marine F-8s go.
