Just when you think you have everything running some what better...

You get a message from the Hosting company. Short story they need to move us to a new server. I have been working with them to plan a good date for all concerned. Here is what we have come up with as a schedule.

    1. November 4th 17:00 -5UTC shut off the forums and start backup proceedures. During this time there will be no access to the forums or the Resource Section.
    2. November 5th Continue with Backups and download same until complete.
    3. November 6th 7:00 turn over server to hosting company to move system to new server
    4. November 7th - 8th restore backups and upgrade forum software.

If all goes well we should be back online on November 8th.

To keep you updated we will post updates on AVSIM forums.

    Thank you for your support.

F1 2013: the final race in Brazil!

Looks like it will be a wet race, and so far it has rained during all the free practice and qualifying sessions!

Mercedes looked strong, but guess who's on pole..? Can he make it a record-breaking nine in a row during one season?
Alonso is certain of runner-up in the championship, but who will be second, and which team will end up second? Lotus, Mercedes or Ferrari?
With the weather this unpredictable, anything can happen tomorrow.

The V8 era in F1 comes to an end with another victory for Vettel, equaling Schumacher's record of thirteen wins in a season and becoming the first driver to win nine consecutive races in one season.
Webber ends his F1 career with a second place and third in the drivers' championship.

Race results:

Note - Perez originally qualified 14th, but received a 5-place grid penalty for an unscheduled gearbox change.

The constructors' championship final standings:

And the final results for the 2013 drivers' championship:

McLaren has some work to do for the constructor's title....
Interesting that Mercedes did well with Hamilton whereas McLaren suffered without Hamilton....

Good tester perhaps?

Button has never been able to develop a car...
