F1 Drivers

The new Lotus Formula One team confirmed that Jarno Trulli and Heikki Kovalainen will form their race line-up for 2010.

That would be 'Petronas Formula One'........:173go1:
Good pairing on the driver front, Trulli is a known quantity and I think Kovalainen will thrive outside of 'Team Hamilton'.
:applause:

Brazilian driver Lucas di Grassi will partner Timo Glock at Virgin Racing for 2010.

Virgin? What's a Virgin??

That would be 'Petronas Formula One'........

Petronas will stay with (BMW) Sauber for the 2010 season.

Will be interesting to watch Virgin (Manor GP) Racing; their car is designed by Nick Wirth who ran Simtek back in '95 and recently developed the Acura ALMS racer.

Renault announced it sold a large part of shares to 'Genii capital' from Luxemburg, most likely clearing the path for Chinese/Dutch driver Ho Ping Tung to get the second seat. Apparently Renault will keep their engine plant (Good news for RBR) but will sell the rest of the team to Genii in two years. Until then they will keep racing under their own name.

Kobayashi seems almost certain of a drive at Sauber, with either Heidfeld, Klien or Fisichella as his teammate.

So with Schumacher in the #1 seat at the Mercedes GP Petronas Formula One Team, Rosberg suddenly fades out of sight...
And poor Heidfeld, whom I still believe is a talent waiting for the right moment, is a wallflower.
He needs a new agent.

I doubt Nico is going to step aside for Schumacher in any way, shape or form.
:173go1:
As for Heidfeld, I've never really rated him, a talent waiting for the right moment? ............... he's had plenty of chances.
A good spear carrier but not a front runner.
He's been around for a good 10+ years IIRC, a long time 'waiting'.

At Sauber: Pedro de la Rosa!
Pedro was last seen a decade or so ago I think...even then he was not superfast.
Perhaps F1 are hoping that by creating a large moving chicane with the bottom 2/3 of the grid, the leaders will lap everyone in ten, and create masses of excitement.
