The French Air Force (NOT Navy!) used the Grumman Bearcat in Indochina, and attempted to use the DH Mosquito; the Mossie, however, yet again demonstrated something its other users had found out years before - that plywood aircraft and damp, tropical climates do not get on well.
The Mossies were replaced... Now imagine that they had been replaced by Tigercats in...
