F7F Tigercat New VC for FSX & P3D

Happy to do some testing for you when you have an fsx version ready to go.

Matt

Thanks Matt. It is an optimization thing for the FSX planes.
BTW...I'm applying the same mods to the Buffalo. Both planes will go FSX at the same time...:encouragement:

I actually put up a call for beta volunteers in this thread, but got no responses.

I figured there was not significant interest in the project, with the exception of those who have followed the thread closely, so I've been concentrating more on developing my skill sets.

I'm interested - count this as an official response :biggrin-new:

Heads Up on the Beta model.

The three models are cleaned up and ready to upload. If you posted here or sent me a PM expressing interest, make sure I get your email so I can send you a link to the server.
I'm very appreciative of the responses from everyone...thanks all.

If I am a bit lax in my responses here...bear with me.
Been replacing the starter in our "runt" car...again. :encouragement:

G,

I sent you a PM - I'm interested. :adoration:

INCOMING...F7F-3 VC Beta

The packages are uploading to my cloud as I am posting.
I'll bump everyone at the email they provided me.

Once the uploads are live, I'll post up some basic parameters for the testing.

This should be fun....:very_drunk:

OK...Here is where Gman goes into berserker leg breaking mode.

After tying up my day and computer for hours, uploading three files to a server I use all of the time, to a file that contains other work I have uploaded, Microsoft has borked my uploads of the three F7F Beta files.

"Sorry...you don't have permission to upload these files"... K....baseball bat is handy.
Pray tell...Why the @#$%k can't Microsoft let me know at the beginning of the process that I don't have "permissions", rather than allowing my day to go down the crapper.

Any insights on this would be welcomed.....

Yes, Dropbox would be a good alternative. Bummer on your regular U/L source.
In this case, if it wasn't for the bad luck you'd have no luck at all......:teapot:

Using OneDrive and GoogleDrive without issues, so if the former won't work, try the latter.

DropBox used to be nice but now they're nothing but annoying.

Working on an alternate....

Thanks to Grey Eagle...I have Clapton in my head. How bad can it be???

Interlude music...

Well G,

While your waiting fans (throwing bottles at the screen) are anticipating the kitty, maybe you can sing a little rawhide while we wait. :biggrin-new:

It's uploading on the other server, so...filling in the time...

I was never a front man, and didn't have the pipes for leads.

I did cut my chops on the Hammond B3 though. Started at age 7...still play. That's "Rusty" Cloud on the ivory behind Jake and Elwood.
Don't have the B-3 any more, but retain a Yamaha Motif 8 with natural action. Still manage some pretty mean rips now and then. :encouragement:

Anyone has an old Hammond laying around...with a working Leslie...let me know!!!

I know Booker T has one.

I love this tune "Time is tight"; the drummer has an excellent back beat that denotes the Memphis sound.
Is this the organ you had or have or looking for?

Couple of those dude are gone. The original drummer is gone for sure. He could really bang those drums. I think he actually busted some sticks during a show.

That organ sound gives me goose bumps......

That's the one. Booker T, Brian Auger, Lee Michaels...all those guys were influences.
Booker really knew how to work the Leslie. Lee Michaels kept a Kreuger Bass on his rig. Carried the base lines with his left hand.
Brian Auger....really stretched the envelope.

BTW
Looks like about 40% progress on the second upload attempt.

Sounds promising. :adoration:

What's the file size guess-ta-met

probably a couple of hours yet...three files @ 500MB each.

Wow, well I guess you will farm it out to those that are interested when
the U/L is completed. It's 19:30 here central time so most likely I might
see it tomorrow then. Sounds like the U/L server is gonna work this time.
