Luv the Panther, wonderful paints. Sometimes get caught in a circle....... fly the Panther, then watch The Bridges Of Toko-Ri; then fly the Panther etc etc. :)

Nice job Duckie! In answer to that last question, I might be the exception to the rule; but no, I'm not caught in that circle:mixed-smiley-010:; well, not yet anyway!:biggrin-new:

I have started trying to dock my carrier by running up Skyraider engine's on deck, that clip always freaks me out :biggrin-new:

great paints Duckie

Thanks for all the positive comments guys. Your interest is very much appreciated.

WH47, not yet on the upload. Still debating some markings. I have been unable to find any definitive photos of the dash 5s number 6 or 10. Bits and pieces are out there but nothing showing nose or tail. They were both "new" dash 5s, based on BuNo delivery dates, and apparently did not have full unit markings applied. The bottom wing markings are a mystery. There seems to have been wide disparity between units and even within the same unit of what markings were applied and where. It's looking more and more like "Plane Jane" for both with only the WL applied to tail and upper right wing and nose numbers unless I find something reliable to the contrary.

So, maybe a day or two more research and handwringing before I pull the trigger. I plan to upload both numbers 6 and 10.

Steve

Well done Duckie! I really like the F9F--- Always wished that they had done the Cougar as a next step!

Thanks, Duckie, for these beautiful textures. Still consider it to be one of the most visually beautiful aircraft the Navy ever had. Will BOL for any future releases, I have the bird in the hangar.

My NJROTC instructor in high school flew these over Korea, I remember him bringing in some gun camera shots from a few of his strikes one day. Interesting viewing.

Thanks SSI01. I too believe the Panther is one very classie chassis! Nothing like those "been there, done that" experiences and stories. I could listen to those guys all day long, and have more than a few times.

Being a F9F Panther nut, I thought I would post a few pikkies. :)
