Famous Flyer #7: Mitsubishi Heavy Industries MU-2

Very nice! Where?

It will be available here.
Still have a few things to do. The package will include four folders.
1. New spinning prop textures that affect all repaints.
2. New COMP files that affect all repaints.
3. The Sun-Moon repaint depicted above.
4. New interior seat textures that affect all repaints.
I am also debating adding a second repaint, exactly as above but in Red.

Stay tuned.

Best

Well, it looks like beautiful work, and she'd look pretty in red, too. Thanks. The new prop and interior will be much appreciated as well.

Two years have passed and after fixing the flight performance of both the Cessna A37B and the T37B .... I am off to do the impossible rework the flight dynamics of the MU-2.
Down the road I might/will need a few brave people to test the outcome.
As time permits I will keep you informed.
Count me in. I had a lot of experience with the old Flysimware version.

Hopefully this time we will include all the performances issues the MU-2 was notorious for..like heavy torque effect, which causes the plane to roll towards the left, and the need to continuously trim her out (like in real life). All this is already there..just having to smooth things out a bit more.. probably a couple of weeks before I will need those few brave souls.

I am getting close to releasing a MU-2K performance beta. Sorry for the late update, but have been reverse engineering the flight_model, Engines.cfg files. I opted to leave the Systems.cfg out and use the one developed by Inibuilt.
It has been a formidable effort, but now a fuel working system is available. Still need to tune up ground performance and add better Stol performance. Working on tuning back torque effect, and smoothing out flight performance...I now have max TAS of 310-317kts.
BTW all flight tuning is being done with all assist turned off to provide real world performance.
There is still a bit to go, but hopefully will have some to show with in the next two weeks.
I also hope to clean up the older textures and provide a new one as well.
More to come short.
Jim
