Here is the Husky that is for raffle for a dollar ticket....

I'll have to purchase a few tickets on that one.

Their Cessna 140 was just a jewel. I had never seen their actual location. I didnt know they were so big.

Oh, you need to do both, definately.

I take a day off work and volunteer at KPCM (where I keep my plane) for Sun-N-Fun. We get a lot of folks coming in there. Then I spend at least a day at KLAL.

There are generall discounts given for various groups...veteran's, senior citizens, AOPA members...so check those out before you go.

And Florida Residents...

We go there yearly.... (Sun N Fun weekend)

It is a lot of FUN...(April 13~18, 2010)... I should have started another thread.... Ooops...

My my.. Kermit's aged a bit since I met him... :icon_lol:

1988 World Aerobatics Championship, Red Deer Alberta. Other than the judges I had the best seat in the house as one of the ATC staff and got to attend all the briefings and socials. Even in the heat of competition Kermit was polite and professional.

Then, a few years later... 1995, Yellowknife, NT 1st Annual (now biennial) Float Plane Fly-in and Poker Rally.

Nice Beaver on amphib floats arrives and I go over to greet another participant... turns out Kermit heard about the event and decided a trip up from Florida was a grand idea!

A few people have accused him of 'showboating' but I think he's done a lot for many facets of aviaiton.
