Farnborough Airshow Public Display Axed for Good

Very sad News about Farnborough Airshow.
The public display is no more.
Thanks to Andy Hill, the idiot pilot crashing a Hunter in Shoreham and killing eleven spectators, the CAA has tightened regulations.
The new regulations caused a major drop on the popularity of the usually fantastic displays.
I visited the show every second year since the early 1970's.
This is an end of an era, it's like losing a good friend.

Hi Stuart,
It's not all bad news.They are cutting out the public weekend but the five weekdays remain for trade exhanges and the public will be allowed in on the Friday.
It is however a great shame.
