Although now a bit long in the tooth, I still very much like and use the FCS Lancaster. However, I don't feel the flight model is anything like close to what it should be. It behaves VERY strangely in choppy winds, becoming VERY unstable, unlike ANY other aircraft I have, and I have many;-)

Just wondering if anyone amoung our talented 'tweakers' here would be willing to play around with it.

Here's about 30 minutes of adjustments on the B.III which I used as a testbed. Disclaimer is that I've done nothing to study the Lancaster in detail, this is purely an interpretation of how it might fly (and it's a hasty patch job), meaning there is an overwhelming probability of inaccuracy. It does however, address the yaw issue you mentioned as well as a few other items (i.e. correcting polarity of secondary moments, overall magnitudes, etc).

Kindest Regards,
John

P.S. Don't forget to back-up your flight files in case you don't like it!

Thanks John, I really appreciate it. Main PC being rebuilt at present, but will report bask asap.

Kind regards

Very welcome, I'm happy to make minor adjustments as desired (more roll authority, more yaw stability, etc).
