I thought "d" on keyboard operated dive brakes. not on my keyboard

"D" are your dive brakes and work like the bomb doors. For landings and take-offs, use "F" and "V" for flaps.

Are you using the cfs2 keyboard commands or Flight Simulator/ cfs1 keyboard commands?
If you look in your settings the list of commands should give you the command for dive brake/ bomb doors. If it isn't conveniently placed or memorable you can change it to "d" or whatever works for you.

I want to emphasize what Ravenna said. If you are using other than the CFS2 setup for flight commands, the dive brakes keystroke may be different from the CFS2 default. Check your settings/flight controller settings for the command listed.

DUH Thanks for reminding me guys to check my settings. the dive brake/spoilers key is "/" . I think that is CFS 2 default. doesn't matter to me --it works.

Well, thanks for jogging my memory Highpockets. I'd forgotten that "/" operates the dive brakes.I'm getting to the stage where I should do a printout of the commands in my settings!
