• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

    If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

February 9th dilemma..

On that day two of my favourite games get a sequel; which one should I get?
Both Bioshock 2 and Aliens vs. predator are released on that day!

And if that isn't hard enough to choose from, there are two editions of each game. Bioshock has a 'Rapture edition' that comes with an artwork booklet, and a special edition that comes with posters, artwork and the soundtrack on vinyl. AvP has a normal edition and a 'hunter edition' that comes with a facehugger replica! :applause:

Oh man,

I would not bat an eyelash...... I will get both at once, saved me time and energy and gas, so I won't be going back to the same store for a little while.... HE he he.... :pop4:
 
I can walk to the store from my house in five minutes, so that's not the issue. And if it was I would have it delivered. ;)

However, I'm also looking at various 'upgrades' for the camera; even thinking about buying a new body. Perhaps a 50D or 7D.. :engel016:
 
I believe the Aliens v Predator sequel is not that good.
So perhaps Bioshock 2 would be the one???

A disclaimer:I'm not into any of this genre and wouldn't be interested in either.

Oops, made a little mistake; AvP will be released on the 19th, not the 9th, so Bioshock 2 will come first.

Wombat: People seem to have made their judgement about AvP already based on some recent games by the same studio (Which also did the original game!) without even playing the actual game or a demo. Personally I'm a big fan of the Alien and Predator universe(s) and I loved the previous two AvP games.
 
Ferry_vO, forget either one..... get X3 Terran Conflict Gold. You'll be glad you did. No DRMs and it will play for as many years as you like... unlike the 2 you mention. ;)
