Fed up broke my TrackIR

I have the same problem. I have a 42" HDTV for my main monitor. Trying to "mouse anything" while trying to look at it is extremely difficult, as the slightest tremor in my head causes the object I'm trying to mouse to skitter around like a demented rat!

Even though I have been simming since the early days,I did not buy the TrackIR till 6 months ago. I got to admit thought there are times its heaven and times I have thrown my hat across the room swearing.
I have a 34 inch tv I use,sit maybe 3 -4 feet back. I have tinkered with sensor placement on the tv and my heads since Ive gotten it. Still there are alot of times I do back flips when looking up or down, left and right. Trying to look down and find something makes me seasick and very frustrating. I obviously do not know what I am doing since most post I read the Trackir gets nothing but unamimous praise.
Also some planes like the P-51s and other warbirds your face is right in the glass. If I try to look down to grab the gear, the view flips out or I cannot look that far down.
Is there a good settings and basic tweeking forum for this vertigo and high blood pressure raising gadget?

Placement is king with the TIR. If you open the TIR software to the camera view and look up/down, you can see the point at which the sensors intersect, causing that nausea-inducing backflip on-screen. I've found that the camera itself needs to be pretty much level with the TrackClip/Hat Clip vertically in order to be able to look up without flipping. You might try some different positions for the camera. One thing I haven't tried is putting the camera to my right or left. The latest TIR software seems to allow for this - even putting it behind you! Of course, you'd have to reverse the clip/TrackClip as well, but it might solve some problems.
