Film Strip Avatars?

Why the film strips? Normally I'd say it has a nice look to it, but because of the format it requires that the actual avatars be reduced to fit, which in mine and several others I've checked has made the avatars fuzzy/out of focus.

Or maybe enlarged to fit, not sure which?

Thanks for posting this Ed, I was wondering this myself. My avatar doesn't fit hardly at all prompting me to think about another. I am sure Roger or Ickie can address your question.

Ed, if I remember I think you use a version of PSP.
If you resize, I think there is an Advanced settings check box.
Should get options to lock Aspect Ratio and Resample, possibly.
I use the Weighted Average when I Resample, and that seems to help maintain the focus for me.

Dain these were resized in conjunction with adding the film strip it seems. My avatar was clear and focused until the strip was added.:salute:

it'd have changed with an update to the forum software, no doubt it'll be changed/put back to how it was, once icke/ck/whoever does the forum stuff mainly now, has the time :)

We think it's part of an update that was applied. We're working on it.

Changing skins is a fast way to fix it if you like.

For me they just look wrong in that format.

Cheers.
