Finally a new sky!!!

Couldn´t stand those fluffy default clouds no more so I treated myself with a new sky-set (zynertech ones, their products looked off for FS9 colorwise, but do look great for FSX). And violá, finally some eyecandy, together with new dusk-dawn colors decreasing the default overall pink!!

Those are not looking to shabby at all...If I remember correctly the price was real good to....:applause:
 
The reason why I did not go for Active Sky or Real Sky was clear - I did not need any other interface and another setup procedure and millions of options to chose from. These ones are just installed and that´s it!

The price was definetely allright and the result is a nice enhancement of the sim. Those default clouds looked real horrid compared to the enhanced groundtextures I used, so this further step was necesary. No performance hit either with those textures, so that´s positive, too!

Nope, they obviously intend to keep the whole product frameratefriendly, so you only get a single resolution. And it works fine even with default: TEXTURE_MAX_LOAD=1024. No need to change the value. Clouds look more detailed and real.

They even look good from up close!
