yesterday i finished my 1st trip all the way around the globe. i used several planes according to my mood, but all were small g/a. mostly the carenado 206, and 182, default 172, 208, dc-3, baron, the cub, and the aa-5b.

today i started a tour of state capitals to pick up the reward from the visit series. i am using the 182 exclusively. i also want to begin another world tour using only 1 plane, real world weather, all ifr flight plans. that one has to be fs9 though, i cant do it with fsx. i have been considering the p-38 or the baron.

I'm currently flying US rivers in various amphibs.........
followed the Colorado down to Vegas,
took a tube to Santa Fe,
and am 1/2 way down the Rio Grande tonite.

Good job! This is a great inspiration and I like the "one plane with real weather and IFR". I think this will be a good new year's resolution to follow-up in my Mustang.

Congratulations, couldn't you fly across the northern coastlines? It would make the map look complete :costumes:
 
i break it into little flights, about 1.5 - 2 hours almost daily, except weekends. next time i want to tour more interior of america, canadia, africa, russia.
 
1.5 - 2 hour flights in a variety of aircraft -- sounds like you'd have no problems with the RTW Race cheezy! There'll likely be lots of opportunity for ones from your list and you don't have to show-off your skills online. Nice part is that you don't have to do all the flying :icon_lol:

cheezyflier. I've been flying around the world using different tubliners. Have about two or three flights left. I took more or less a straight line around. Stayed north of the equator and flew west. That was a mistake because I had head winds most of the way. Started in Aug 08. They were two to three hour flights. Next time I'll try more like your flight plan.

the trouble is, i have no mike for teamspeak. i originally wanted to use the one on my webcam, but it stopped working.
besides, i can only fly real weather in fs9, but i don't know how to fly fs9 online. initially, i was looking forward to being a part of the race. without the proper equipment, i wouldn't be much use.
