• There seems to be an up tick in Political commentary in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site we know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religiours commentary out of the fourms.

If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

Please note any post refering to a politicion will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment amoung members. It is a poison to the community. We apprciate compliance with the rules.

Finally found one

My dad had saved patches from all the Air Force units he was assigned to during his 25 years of service, but his UPT class patches got lost somehow. I've been looking on Ebay and various other places for a few years, and finally got one for him. Class 59-G...and this was also the first UPT class to use the T-37. He never got to fly the T-29, unlike MenendezDiego.

How cool is that!!

Awesome that you were able to find one Bone! It's a nice one too! Love the colors!

Bone~ Have you shown it to your Dad yet? If so, I'd be curious to hear of his reaction? If you don't mind sharing of course!

No, I haven't yet. He lives in Fort Worth, TX, and I live in Atlanta, GA. I go through DFW on a somewhat regular basis, so the next time I go there, I'll rent a car and swing by his house.

It's kind of a bitter-sweet thing. His UPT class had 20 guys in it, and the patch is from the estate sale of one of those guys.
