Firepower (or other) Skins for the B17F

I hope Nigel and Rene won't object, but I also used their 'Ye Old Pub' m3d and dds to make a model, as I never could fine their original ac.

Well, I actually have to credit Barry and Andy for this as I followed their advice. Andy redid the m3d to deal with _s.dds being 'removed', as I have no idea about hexadecimals. Check the Foo Fighter and MajorMagee posts above. The apps I used were GIMP, Paint.net, DXTBmp, and whatever you use to open m3ds to change the (words) for the _t.dds (as one does for standalones using a skin texture). Below are just notes that I took from various posts here and the thread on Damage Simulation.

If you open the _s.dds (and/or _r.dds) files in DXTBmp and import the same modified alpha channel as the _t.dds file will that work the same way?
