Well, I actually have to credit Barry and Andy for this as I followed their advice. Andy redid the m3d to deal with _s.dds being 'removed', as I have no idea about hexadecimals. Check the Foo Fighter and MajorMagee posts above. The apps I used were GIMP, Paint.net, DXTBmp, and whatever you use to open m3ds to change the (words) for the _t.dds (as one does for standalones using a skin texture).
