First time I've ever seen a Cabin Waco

FAC257

SOH-CM-2025
They had the 3rd Annual Pilot's Breakfast fly-in at our local grass airport this Saturday.

I was already finished walking the flight line and taking pictures of the older rare aircraft and was walking back to my car when I saw this 1936 Cabin Waco on final.

Too cool and definitly a first for me.

Good looking airplane, would love to see a FS9 version in a yellow or red paint job. Somebody should've paid a bit more attention to detail before applying the cock-eyed "U.S. MAIL" lettering on the tail.

Or FS 10! :mixedsmi:

Anyone? Anyone? I have more photos of this one, including interior and manufacturer's 3 view (with cross sections!)

I even made the panel and 2D cockpit views.... But lost interest when I got to Gmax.

The Waco SRE dates from 1940 and was the last of the Waco cabin biplanes.

Well OK then! :icon_lol: Not surprised that Paul did the plane, he's come out with so many. Thanks for the heads-up Dogknot.
