The engine was created using 1 box on each side. The exhaust pipes took more than 20X in polygons.

Great looking bird AW. I was just watching a couple of youtube videos, recently, about the P-39. A very maligned and under appreciated airplane. Reviled by many pilots in the 5th Air Force, but the Russian's praised it. Thanks!

I got to beta test this for Andrew. It is another great plane by him. My FIL flew these in the Pacific before they got the P38's. 67th Fighter Squadron (Fighting Cocks). They were taking gunnery practice near Henderson Field and as he pulled up his whole tail came off. He couldn't open the doors to bail out due to the centrifugal force so had to kick out the windows and crawl up the side of the fuselage and wait for the tail to clear before jumping off. He just had enough altitude for his chute to land him in the ocean safely and was picked up quickly by one of our nearby ships.

Thanks for the nice comments. UncleTgt has just finished painting a lot of new paint schemes. We are hoping to get this aircraft ready this week. I am doing the last minute flight tuning.

UncleTgt and I have been watching the Olympics Games. There were no progress for 2 weeks.

I did learn that a poorly written FX file can cause CTD. I was trying to learn how to write the engine smoke effect FX file and caused multiple CTD.
